An American in Paris (London)

Jerry Mulligan is an American GI striving to make it as a painter in a city suddenly busting with hope and possibility. Following a chance encounter with a beautiful young dancer named Lise, the streets of Paris become the backdrop to a sensuous, modern romance of art, friendship and love in the aftermath of the war.

Experience the theatrical event of 2017 as this stunning reimagining of the Oscar® winning film (acclaimed by The New York Times as “a perfect integration of dance, romance and classic Gershwin”) arrives at the West End’s beautifully refurbished Dominion Theatre from 4 March, featuring the original, award-winning Broadway stars Robert Fairchild and Leanne Cope. An exceptional company of 50 actors, dancers and musicians also includes Jane Asher as Madame Baurel.
