BULL DURHAM comes to the stage featuring an adapted book by Academy-Award nominated Ron Shelton, writer and director of the hit film, original music and lyrics by Susan Werner, direction by Marc Bruni (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) and choreography by Emmy nominated Josh Bergasse (Smash, On the Town)

The new musical made its world premiere at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta in the summer of 2014. Loosely based on Ron Shelton’s experiences on and off the field with a Minor League Baseball team, Bull Durham tells the story of Annie Savoy, who has an affair with one minor-league baseball player each season. She meets “Nuke” LaLoosh, an up-and-coming pitcher and “Crash” Davis, the experienced catcher assigned to him. A love triangle heats up quickly as each character struggles with their own desires and hopes for what the future holds.
